Winners of the AGAPE Award Serenaded

On Wednesday, July 6, nine women were honored as part of the 2016 AGAPE Awards. Some of the winners of this award, which stands for All Generations Accomplishing Philanthropic Endeavors, are standing, above, As a special treat, Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell, a Greek Orthodox faithful and active member of her church, sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical Les Miserables, for the winners, in a celebratory breakfast, below.
This year’s AGAPE honorees are Christina Vasilakos, Direct Archdiocesan District; Ismini Arges, Metropolis of Chicago; Catherine Bibilos, Metropolis of Boston; Eleni Kyriazis, Metropolis of Denver; Catherine Stuman, Metropolis of Atlanta; Nia Cortese, Metropolis of Detroit; Tessie Lekas, Metropolis of Pittsburgh; Elaine Sotiropulos, Metropolis of San Francisco; Maria Antonakas, Metropolis of New Jersey.
