Marilyn Tzakis

Marilyn has long been an active leader and member of Philoptochos on all levels. She has previously held several officer positions on the Chicago Metropolis Board and served as president of her parish Philoptochos chapter at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago. She currently serves as a National Philoptochos Board member.

Most recently, Marilyn served as Co-Chair of the hugely successful Children’s Medical Fund Luncheon held in Chicago in November 2019.

Marilyn is a self-employed Commercial Loan Banker, having served in the banking industry for over 25 years.

She is a graduate of Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois, and is President Emeritus of the Lake Forest College Alumni Association. She is also past treasurer and currently a Distinguished Advisor for the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago.
